Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a skilled RN with a strong electrophysiology and interventional cardiology background for our EP Lab in Roanoke, VA. You will join a team of CVTs and CVT RNs in a state-of-the-art cath lab environment.

Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance are available. Training will be provided to obtain RCES certification, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts; a competitive compensation package accompanies comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Virginia RN license.
• Experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in EP Lab procedures (pacemaker/ICD ablations, monitoring).
• Provide patient care and telemetry during EP studies.
• Support RCES certification preparation and orientation.

It is located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and is the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department.What we do:Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include:· Procedures: Pacemaker, ICD Defibrillator, leadless pacemaker, subcutaneous ICD, CRRT Device, Implantable loop recorder, and Cardioversion· EP Studes for Arrhythmias· Ablations: Atrial fibrillation and Ventricular Fibrillation ablation, Cryoballoon ablation, and Radiofrequency ablation· Treatments for Conditions: Arrhythmias, Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia, and Ventricular FibrillationWhat We Require:What We Require:Education: Graduate of Accredited School of NursingExperience: Critical care experience preferred.Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Must have valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Virginia.Life Support: Must have and maintain current AHA BLS-HCP certification. Must successfully complete AHAACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status.Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position. Successful completion of cardiac monitoring course required.Compensation Range:$36.87 - $55.31Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
