Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA seeks an experienced RN-EP Lab Tech with CVT credentials to join the Electrophysiology Lab team. The role involves direct patient care, assisting in ablations, pacemaker and ICD procedures, and providing critical support to physicians in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in Virginia, be BLS certified, and commit to ACLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS within six months of hire
• Cardiac monitoring course completion required
• Orientation and competency validation provided

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Prepare patient and equipment for invasive procedures.
• Monitor EKG and hemodynamics during procedures; manage medications and sedation.
• Ensure supplies and documentation are accurate for the EP lab procedures.
• Support patient education and informed consent processes.
