Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston seeks a Cardiovascular Tech (Certified) to support the Electrophysiology lab. Per Diem, Days, under the physician, scrub or monitor data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, ensuring the room is prepared and supplies ready.

Required ARRT-R and RCIS or state license, BCLS, ACLS within 30 days, previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and RCIS license required.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiac procedures.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared for the procedure.
• Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities; train new staff.
• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
