Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Laboratory to deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatrics during surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state RN license; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations in the cardiovascular lab.
• Communicates with physician about patient condition continuously and as needed.
• Maintains equipment and inventory and ensures all needs of the lab are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
