Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a cardiovascular Electrophysiology Lab clinician to join our team. The role involves delivering patient care during EP procedures, documenting, circulating and scrubbing alongside physicians and surgeons on a 4x10 hour shift schedule with Saturday rotation.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, equipment readiness, accurate record-keeping, and on-call coverage while mentoring staff and maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current NC RN license and two years of RN experience preferred.
• Allied Health Technology Program graduate with registry or license related to field and two years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
• Completion of Cardiovascular Interventional Program

Responsibilities

• Emergency equipment readiness and response.
• Maintain safe environment and report malfunctions.
• Record keeping of patient data and charges; protect privacy.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• On-call coverage for 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab; 25-minute response.
• Monitor patient stability and assist with medications and advanced procedures.
• Mentor coworkers; participate in continuing education and competencies.
• Provide age-specific care and update clinical knowledge.
