Job summary

ICFAI in Statesville, North Carolina seeks a Cardiovascular Specialist to assist physicians with invasive cardiology procedures and deliver patient-centered care in the Iredell community. This role requires hands-on experience in cardiovascular technology and related allied health fields, with strong teamwork in a high-energy cardiovascular lab.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology – special procedures, or other relevant allied health field preferred.
• Certification, registered or registry eligible in a relevant allied health field, such as cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology – special procedures, Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CIT) or paramedic, required or eligible to obtain within a year.
• One year of experience working in a cardiovascular lab preferred.
• RCIS preferred or willing to obtain within a year of hire date.
• BCLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• ACLS required through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and pass a basic FIT test; ability to wear lead apron.
• Respond appropriately in an emergency; CPR capable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with invasive cardiology procedures.
• Perform duties for which trained and qualified.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiovascular professionals serving the Iredell community.
