Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support the Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Hybrid OR with advanced cardiovascular care. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage room preparation, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds RCIS/RCES/ARRT/IBHRE certifications, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and has ladder-experience. This on-site role offers growth and patient-centered care in a Magnet-recognized health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate or bachelor’s program in a health science field or related certificate program.
• Minimum one year Level II or two years Level III experience per ladder.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT/IBHRE certification preferred; BLS required; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide, plan, and document patient care in accordance with physician orders and policies.
• Support physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures using advanced clinical competencies.
• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain invasive lab equipment and devices; prepare rooms and supplies.
• Document and verify clinical data; maintain competencies and participate in ongoing learning and development.
• Assist in training and onboarding of peers and learners; uphold safety and regulatory standards.
