Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to support physicians in real-time surgery, evaluating fluoroscopy options and performing radiologic imaging in the Electrophysiology Lab. You will maximize efficiency and equipment usage while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires EP-related certification within two years, BLS and ACLS prior to orientation, and at least two years of invasive cardiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year Allied Health program preferred.
• Two years of invasive cardiology experience preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist certification within two years of hire; BLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to create high-quality fluoroscopy images during procedures.
• Assist physicians by providing input on fluoroscopy imaging during procedures.
• Prepare and manage supplies and instruments for electrophysiology procedures.
• Document procedure events and patient care in EMT and Imaging System.
• Ensure radiation safety and infection control compliance.
• Supervise radiologic technology students during rotations.
• Provide support and coverage for radiologic needs in the operating room and invasive areas.
