Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, VA, is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist I to support physicians in real-time surgery by operating fluoroscopy and EP lab equipment, and to help maximize efficiency and equipment usage.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of invasive cardiology/EP experience, and must obtain RCES within two years; ARRT may apply with radiology training. Strong teamwork and patient-care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year Allied Health training preferred.
• Two years of invasive cardiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Must obtain Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist certification within two years.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality fluoroscopy images.
• Assist in patient monitoring and comfort during procedures.
• Ensure informed consent and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain equipment and document events per regulatory requirements.
