Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in the United States is seeking an Electro-physiology Clinical Specialist to provide engineering, clinical and sales support for EP products. You will interact with physicians and health care professionals, deliver trainings, and assist with demonstrations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and product evolution.

The role emphasizes building credible relationships, supporting regional training, and performing monthly account activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Ability to become certified on EP products.
• Minimum of 6 months in Clinical Specialist position.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Achieves or exceeds expectations in most recent performance review.
• Average of 15+ cases a month for 6–12 consecutive months as primary mapper.
• Primary mapper on complex cases for 6+ months (3 complex cases in last 6 months).
• Demonstrate ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.
• Complete monthly sales activities at their Accounts.
• Verification of vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, educational and clinical support in response to field inquiries on EP products.
• Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Develop, lead and facilitate trainings and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide insight and feedback on market trends and next generation products.
• Offer regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales Reps.
• Support sales with regional training seminars, data collection and product demonstrations.
• Stay current on developments, regulatory requirements and competitor products.
