Abbott is seeking an experienced Sr. EP Clinical Specialist to support the Electrophysiology portfolio, providing advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support to physicians and field staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Prior industry/competitive experience, if external.
• Solely dedicated to EP.
• Must be in Sr. EP CS role for 2 years.
• 1 of last 2 performance ratings must be exceeds expectations.
• IBHRE EP certified.
• Ability to perform the most complex EP cases solo.
• Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases.
• Ability to conduct complex customer education events to sell the value proposition of the full ABT portfolio.
• Revenue/case higher than national average.
• Performs in top 1/2 of number of cases completed across clinical group at time of promotion in defined Region/Area.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced engineering, sales, educational and clinical support in response to complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field staff.
• Mentor and lead EP clinical support roles and provide training as needed.
• Develop and deliver trainings and educational programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
• Maintain current knowledge of EP product line, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Support regional implant case coverage and assist sales with product demonstrations when needed.
• Collaborate with management to provide market feedback and influence product strategy.
