UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role covers EP clinic responsibilities and first assisting in EP lab procedures.

The position is a full-time role with 40 hours (4x10-hour shifts), no weekends or holidays, and requires active NP/PA certification and BLS/ACLS. Collaboration with cardiology and nursing staff is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
• Graduation from an approved NP/PA program with certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in cardiology, Cath/EP lab, critical care, or procedural medicine preferred.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus; vascular access proficiency preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct pre-procedure EP patient consultations in the clinic, including histories and orders.
• Manage post-procedure follow-ups and wound checks in clinic.
• Perform detailed chart reviews to assess readiness and concerns before procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and procedural teams for planning.
• Provide vascular access and serve as first assist during EP lab procedures.
• Document assessments, interventions, and communications in Epic EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education.
• Assist with post-procedure care coordination.
