Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Cardiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA for a 100% outpatient role. The position features a 4-day clinical workweek (4 x 10-hour shifts) with no weekends or holidays and a collaborative, academic health system setting.

Candidates must have NP/PA training, current certification, MA licensure eligibility, and ideally 2 years of cardiology APP experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP or PA certification.
• Eligibility for Massachusetts licensure.
• 2 years of cardiology APP experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology care in a 100% ambulatory setting.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage evaluation, treatment, and follow-up of cardiovascular conditions.
