Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology team. You will evaluate and manage patients with arrhythmias, perform exams, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiovasculature specialists.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current APRN licensure in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• National APRN certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Previous EP Cardiology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Manage patients with pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, and other cardiac devices.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures, treatment plans, and disease management.
• Order, interpret, and monitor diagnostic testing and laboratory results.
• Participate in hospital rounding, clinic follow-ups, and care coordination activities.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
