Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Device Tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to use computer systems or hospital equipment.
• Knowledge of hospital radiology techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, invasive cardiovascular practices and emergency protocols.
• Familiar with EP equipment and troubleshooting.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and optimize programming for all device patients (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT).
• Check battery status, sensing, lead impedances, and lead thresholds.
• Interpret event logs, identify lead issues and appropriate shocks.
• Program/reprogram devices based on interrogated data; adjust therapy as needed.
• Remote monitoring of device patients via Internet; assist in device clinic training.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and inpatient management when applicable.
