SWJ TECHNOLOGY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – End-Line Testing for a 3-month on-site assignment in Charleston, SC, for an automotive client. The role focuses on analyzing End-of-Line test data, identifying failure drivers, and conducting root-cause investigations to improve FTC and reduce rework.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or Automotive Engineering.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or automotive manufacturing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze End-of-Line test data including wheel alignment, calibration systems, dynamometer testing, vehicle validation systems, and other manufacturing test processes.
• Identify trends, recurring failures, and process performance gaps affecting vehicle quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FTA).
• Perform statistical analysis to evaluate process stability, capability, and quality performance.
• Lead and support corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues and improve FTC/FTT metrics.
• Develop performance dashboards, reports, and presentations for management and operations teams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, Quality, Production, and Testing to resolve issues.
• Validate effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure sustainable process improvements.
