SSW Advanced Technologies, Henderson, TN, is seeking an Onsite Quality Engineer to design, develop, test, and evaluate quality systems across production processes including manufacturing, logistics, and cost analysis.

The role requires 3+ years in quality engineering, strong GD&T interpretation, and direct interaction with major OEMs. You will lead corrective actions, implement Lean improvements, and train operators to ensure robust product quality.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of quality engineering experience (automotive experience preferred).
• Experience as direct customer contact with major OEMs.
• Ability to read product drawings (GD&T) and apply standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to present formally.
• Good problem-solving skills using corrective-action disciplines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Ability to lead a team and work across manufacturing disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret product drawings and technical standards to develop quality controls and test methods.
• Ensure product quality and achieve external quality goals.
• Stop production when non-conforming or suspicious products are detected.
• Lead 8-D problem solving and root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Check Sheets.
• Provide operator training and support on quality procedures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and Lean initiatives.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on corrective actions.
