Job summary

Verde Law, a Miami-based immigration law firm, seeks a skilled EOIR Immigration Attorney to lead removal and humanitarian matters before EOIR and USCIS. You will own cases from strategy through resolution, drafting motions, preparing clients, and advocating at hearings, while mentoring paralegals.

Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. You will join a client-centered team committed to compassionate service, ethical practice, and high professional standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar.
• At least 1 year of immigration law experience with EOIR practice.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master calendar hearings and bond hearings.
• Develop case strategy and legal theories for removal defense and humanitarian relief.
• Draft persuasive briefs and legal memoranda; prepare clients and witnesses to testify.
• Negotiate with government counsel on prosecutorial discretion, stipulations, and bond; manage deadlines and filings.
• Supervise and mentor paralegals, ensuring accuracy and quality of case work.
