Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an admitted attorney for an Immigration Attorney - EOIR role. You will manage a caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

The ideal candidate has 1-5 years of immigration law experience, is bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and demonstrates strong analytical and advocacy skills to handle family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR proceedings, and USCIS applications.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of immigration law experience.
• Team player open to collaboration and strategizing.
• Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases.
• Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian, EOIR, detained, citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with case management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a workload of cases.
• Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.
