Wellington Shire Council is seeking a casual Customer Service Officer (Lifeguard) to deliver safe, welcoming aquatic services across Aqua Energy and rural pools. You will supervise patrons, manage aquatic risk, test water quality and provide professional customer service.
The successful candidate will hold a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Level 2 First Aid and CPR, and a Working with Children Check, with the ability to respond confidently to emergencies and work with trainees and staff.

Based within Wellington Shire Council’s Culture and Leisure business unit, this casual role provides an opportunity to help deliver safe, welcoming and professional aquatic services across Aqua Energy and Wellington Shire rural pools.
Are you a qualified and customer-focused lifeguard who can remain alert, communicate clearly and respond confidently to safety issues and emergencies? We are seeking a Customer Service Officer (Lifeguard) to join our casual aquatic team.
As part of the Aqua Energy team, you will supervise patrons and user groups, manage aquatic risk, maintain water quality and provide professional customer service. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues and support trainees and new staff when required.
Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted monthly.
The pool lifeguard certification and first aid certification are required to be obtained within 14 days after interview at your own expense, otherwise application with be withdrawn.
