Job summary

Chitra is seeking experienced Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technical/Academic Instructors to train U.S. Army personnel at the EOD Training Detachment at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

The role requires significant EOD operational experience (89D/89E) and proven instructional ability, translating complex technical concepts into clear, standards-based teaching. Expect classroom and field sessions with safety focus and collaboration with government personnel.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of operationally specific EOD experience.
• Three+ years of instructional experience.
• All required course certifications for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Train and retrain U.S. Army students in EOD techniques in classroom and field settings.
• Deliver instruction per doctrinal publications and approved course materials.
• Demonstrate EOD procedures accurately and safely.
• Use audiovisual tools and training aids to enhance learning.
• Perform hands-on demonstrations and provide instructional support.
• Evaluate student performance and provide remedial instruction when needed.
• Maintain instructor certifications and safeguard training equipment.
• Collaborate with Government personnel and other instructors.
