Job summary

Chitra Productions seeks an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technical/Academic Instructor to support U.S. Army personnel at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

The role delivers classroom and field-based instruction to train and retrain soldiers in current EOD techniques, procedures, and standards. The ideal candidate has three years of EOD experience as 89D or 89E, three years of instructional experience, and required course certifications, with strong communication skills and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Three years of operational EOD experience as 89D/89E.
• Three years of instructional experience.
• Certifications for the courses they will teach.
• Working knowledge of current EOD doctrine and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to access and effectively use instructional technology.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to military students.
• Ability to work with Government personnel and instructors.

Responsibilities

• Train and retrain Army students in current EOD techniques in classroom and field.
• Deliver instruction per doctrine and course materials and standards.
• Demonstrate EOD techniques safely.
• Use audiovisual equipment and CAI systems to enhance learning.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and provide hands-on support.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and provide remediation when needed.
• Maintain instructor qualifications and certifications.
• Prepare and safeguard instructional equipment and inert ordnance items.
• Maintain a professional, safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with Government personnel and other instructors.
• Perform additional course-support duties to meet objectives.
