Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks an experienced EO/IR Systems Engineer to serve as Test Manager for the Army Javelin Seeker effort at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will provide programmatic T&E oversight across the full acquisition life cycle, ensuring test plans, readiness, execution, and reporting align with requirements and risk mitigation.

As a technical advisor, you will lead TE WIPTs, coordinate with ATEC/RTC/WSMR, supervise contractor tests, and produce executive briefings on system progress, qualification,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive systems engineering and T&E experience on defense programs.
• Experience supporting acquisition-level qualification, verification, and T&E across the full life cycle.
• Strong technical briefing, analytical, and technical writing skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead T&E strategy, plans, and RVTM alignment for EMD activities.
• Chair TE WIPTs and participate in design reviews (SFRs, PDRs, CDRs).
• Ensure traceability between requirements, methods, and test results.
• Coordinate test resources with ATEC, RTC, WSMR, PMOs, and labs.
• Witness contractor tests and review test reports for rigor and compliance.
• Synthesize risk assessments into executive briefings and system assessments.
