Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL seeks an EO/IR Integration & Test Engineer to lead cross-disciplinary integration of electro-optical sensor systems across electrical, mechanical, and optical domains. You will develop and execute integration and test plans, perform system-level testing in lab and field environments, and document results for program records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics, electrical, mechanical, optical or systems engineering with 2–4 years of experience (or Master's with less than 2 years).
• Experience with EO/IR sensor systems or related electro-optical tech.
• Cross-disciplinary experience across electrical, mechanical and optical domains.
• Must be a US citizen and eligible for Final Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Integrate EO/IR sensor systems across electrical, mechanical and optical engineering disciplines.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware, software, and optical integration.
• Develop and execute integration and test plans for complex sensor systems.
• Conduct system-level testing, calibration, and validation in lab and field environments.
• Troubleshoot multidisciplinary integration issues across electrical, mechanical, thermal and optical domains.
• Document integration processes, test results, and technical specifications for records.
