Torch Technologies, located in Huntsville, AL, seeks an intermediate Tracking, Filtering, EO/IR Data Analyst. The role focuses on EO/IR data analysis, image processing, and uncertainty analysis to support data reduction from test events. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a related bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3–5+ years of EO/IR experience, and an active Secret Clearance. On-site work, M-F, with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Security clearance (Active Secret) and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EO/IR sensor data including target detection, tracking, filtering, and signature analysis.
• Perform sensor data fusion and uncertainty analysis.
• Support multi-spectral sensor calibration and characterization.
• Analyze algorithms and their interaction to improve performance.
• Interpret data, identify trends, and apply statistical techniques.
