Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development's ENZO Midtown in Atlanta is seeking an energetic bartender to deliver exceptional service according to ENZO standards. You will craft cocktails, pair wines with meals, and manage beverage service for guests in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of high-volume bartending, strong customer service, and the ability to work long hours. This hourly, non-exempt role offers a dynamic team environment and opportunities to grow within the ENZO

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher; hospitality experience required.
• Minimum 2 years bartending in high-volume bar/restaurant.
• Southwest/Florida experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use tablets/iPads.

Responsibilities

• Craft cocktails according to ENZO standards.
• Curate guests’ bar experience with recommendations.
• Know beverages including liquors, beers, and wines.
• Serve guests efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain bar area and daily checklist.
• Handle cash and payments.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist with light food running when needed.
• Coordinate with management for station coverage.
• Perform other duties as requested.

ITL Group is committed to professionalism, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement across all operations Position: ENZO Midtown Bartender Location: Epicurean Atlanta Reports to: ENZO General Manager Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Job Summary: ENZO Bartender will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the ENZO Steakhouse & Bar service standards. Bartenders will be responsible for making alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the recipe and delivering high-quality food and drinks in a clean and friendly environment. Essential Functions: General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals Curate guests’ bar experience by making recommendations Knowledge of all beverages to include liquors, beers, and wines Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following the proper steps of service Knowledge of proper cocktail making, as trained by ENZO Midtown. Have necessary tools to run the shift such as pen, corkscrew, any bar tools, etc. Ability to pair wines with meals Understanding that bar serves full menu and must be prepared as much to serve full coursed or shared meals to guests Light food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot Knowledge of all menu items to include prep time, preparations, sauces, allergies, and accompaniments Securing the tab and collect payment for food and beverages served Follow practices to ensure safe and responsible serving of alcohol Be aware of any specials, soups, drinks, and any items that are running low Ability to handle station, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience Follow cash handling procedures, and must be able to explain shortages and overages Maintain bar area and follow the established daily checklist Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests.

Qualification Standards: Education & Experience High School diploma or higher Previous hospitality experience required Minimum 2-year bartending experience in high volume bar or restaurant preferable in the Southwest, Florida area Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to communicate clearly Corrected vision to normal range Ability to work long hours as needed Mental Demands Make sound judgments quickly Work on multiple tasks, making appropriate progress towards deadlines Able to work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others Manage differing personalities within the office, the hotel, and the community Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality Ability to work effectively in stressful, high pressure situations Ability to effectively handle challenges in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
