Job summary
SolveNow Inc. in Magnolia, Arkansas is seeking a full-time Environmental Wastewater Treatment System Technician responsible for operation and maintenance of groundwater collection and treatment systems at a former industrial site near Magnolia.
Field tasks include inspections, sample collection, preventive maintenance and groundskeeping; office tasks include monitoring operational data and reporting, with after-hours alarm monitoring and remote supervision as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with operating principles of valves, pumps, and motors; water/wastewater treatment processes; and safety practices.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains groundwater collection and treatment systems.
- Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels.
- Observes operating conditions and interprets readings.
- Operates valves remotely or manually.
- Starts and stops pumps, motors, and generators to control flow.
- Performs routine maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Oversees field tasks with minimal supervision and makes operating decisions.
- Completes field documentation and reporting.
- Oversees waste management activities including inspections and pickups.
