Job summary

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) is seeking a full-time Technician in Millbury, MA to install and maintain water treatment equipment and support environmental remediation projects. The role involves overtime, travel to remote sites, and periodic night/weekend work.

Qualified candidates will have OSHA training, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a willingness to pursue wastewater operator certification within a year.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the environmental/construction field is preferred.
• Certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator required within one year of employment.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Overtime/night/weekend work and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, apply, and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with peers, superiors, and clients.
• Mechanical and process piping installations including anchoring and pipefitting (PVC, HDPE and metallic).
• Extensive use of hand and power tools, and precision test equipment.
• Light welding and coating applications.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts and other heavy equipment as required.
• System start-up, monitoring and routine maintenance.
