Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Environmental Test Technician to support a wide variety of environmental tests in a dynamic laboratory. You will calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and document procedures.

The role requires the ability to lift and move test equipment, coordinate with the team, and occasionally support testing in Bedford, MA with evening or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or 2 years applicable experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and complex integration and test activities with 2+ years of experience.
• Must possess strength, stamina, and dexterity to perform strenuous assignments and be proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
