Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a forklift operator for our semiconductor manufacturing facility in Texas. You will collect, sort, and transport disposables and recyclables, load shipments, and help maintain clean and safe work areas. The role requires safety-conscious teamwork and adherence to site regulations.

Qualified applicants have a High School diploma or GED, and forklift experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties safely in a manner compliant with Veolia policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment including work areas and equipment.
• Model professional behavior; report on time and prepared to work.
• Collect trash, recyclables and hazardous waste from various facility locations.
• Breakdown scrap parts for repair or recycling.
• Transport waste/recyclables to disposal containers or storage.
• Load semi-trailers and roll-off boxes for shipment to landfills or recycling centers.
• Maintain storage areas and drum pads according to regulations.
• Document contamination in recycling containers and inform management.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in safety and efficiency meetings.
• Operate equipment safely including forklifts, tuggers, and transport carts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on mobile equipment.
• Stay current on safety practices, policies and regulations; support team.
• Work in a team environment and assist others as needed.
• Contribute to safety culture and positive work environment.
• Perform other duties to support business operations.
