Your Responsibilities As a Remediation Environmental Technician

• Collect soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples
• Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems
• Use and maintain field monitoring equipment
• Gather and enter data collected into excel spreadsheets
• Draft template reports
• Conduct stormwater inspections
• Support Phase I ESA site inspections
• Actively develop your own professional growth
• Actively participate in a culture of safe work practices

What We're Looking For

• GED or High School Diploma
• Pursuing or achievement of a degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
• 0-3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outside year-round.
• The ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule
• Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable transportation are required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Experience with data management and report preparation
• Safety minded
• Experience with safety programs and safe work practices
• Ability to travel to remote project sites
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
