Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our environmental team. You will monitor landfills (gas/water), collect water and soil samples, perform materials testing, and assist with data evaluation and report preparation.

You will screen projects for environmental concerns such as wetlands and protected species, and help prepare environmental permit applications. Strong teamwork and attention to safety are valued at Mi-Tech Services, Inc., part of the Michels Family of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Environmental science (e.g. water resources, natural resource management, soil resources, hydrology, geology, etc.).
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ESRI GIS (preferred).
• 40-hour HazWoper certification (preferred).
• A valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and walk at least a mile is required.

As an Environmental Technician, you are an important part of our environmental team. You will be monitoring landfills (gas/water), water and soil sampling, performing materials testing, and working on data evaluation and report preparation. Additional tasks included screening projects (desktop and field) for environmental concerns (wetlands, endangered species, stormwater, etc.) and preparing environmental permit applications.
