Job summary

A leading environmental services company is seeking an Environmental Technician to oversee landfill gas and leachate management. Responsibilities include environmental sampling, system troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has at least one year of OSHA-regulated site experience. Starting pay is $23/hr with a pay range of $18.30 to $25.20, alongside a $1,500 retention bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working at a site regulated by OSHA.
• Ability to communicate effectively operating issues to management.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and ensure task completion.

Responsibilities

• Conducts environmental sampling including groundwater and air quality.
• Measures and records gas levels in landfill well fields.
• Troubleshoots landfill gas extraction systems and reports issues.
