Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or training in related tasks may be substituted for formal education.

Responsibilities

• Inspects sources of wastewater discharges to ensure compliance with County codes and regulations.
• Collects samples of industrial user discharges.
• Administers Hauled Waste program and prepares permits.
• Monitors septic waste hauler discharge and sampling; investigates complaints.
• Administers FOG program and prepares permits.
• Conducts inspections to verify compliance with FOG or similar regulations.
• Educates the public about FOG and similar programs.
