Job summary
KCI is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Designer in Dover, Delaware, responsible for designing and preparing drawings for water/wastewater projects. This role involves working closely with a Professional Engineer, conducting calculations, and collaborating across engineering disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least 2 years of experience. This position also offers a competitive compensation package and family-friendly benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication and technical writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare drawings for water/wastewater projects.
- Perform engineering calculations and interpret engineering drawings.
- Assist with proposal preparation including scope, schedule and fee.
- Coordinate work with multiple engineering disciplines.
- Conduct site visits to gather data.
