Job summary

Clean Earth, now part of Veolia, is seeking Environmental Technicians to support hazardous waste handling in accordance with regulations. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating forklifts, and moving containers within storage and treatment areas; documentation must be accurate and timely.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and basic English comprehension.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Need to read labels and documentation; depth perception for forklift operation.
• Hearing alarms and vehicle chimes.
• Work outdoors in all weather; indoors in non-climate-controlled spaces.
• Willingness to wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek, respirator.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and procedures.
• Operate forklift and other equipment to move containers.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely per policies.
• Consolidate, treat, store, transport, and/or dispose of hazardous waste as trained.
