Environmental Technician-1
The ideal candidate will provide the facility with Environmental support to assure compliance with regulatory and corporate EHS requirements. The Ideal candidate needs to have experience at either DW or WW plants or Both. Concentrate on at least 2-3 years minimum please if possible.
What you’ll do?
Primary responsibility for collection of environmental samples for compliance determination.
Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect their fellow workers.
Conducts facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with strict regulatory procedures. This may include providing technical training to assist with on-going compliance.
Performs inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoots and manages environmental field sampling data using an electronic database.
Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees.
Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:
High School/GED required.
Driver's License required
1+ years ofEnvironmental Health and Safety experience required.
Entry level Plant Operations knowledge
1 - 2 years Microsoft Office Suite experience
Drinking Water Testing Certificate required (a must).
Wastewater Testing Certificate required
1+ years Environmental and Permitting Regulatory Matters experience preferred
