Job summary

A leading environmental consulting firm in the United States is seeking a candidate experienced in environmental inspections to join their team. The role involves conducting inspections, collecting environmental samples, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental inspections preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to perform fieldwork in diverse environmental conditions.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental inspections to ensure compliance on construction projects.
• Collect and analyze stormwater, groundwater, and soil samples.
• Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings.
• Advance project success by collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to integrate environmental solutions into broader project goals.
• Build trust and transparency by maintaining open communication with project managers, clients, regulatory agencies, and homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard compliance and sustainability by conducting environmental inspections on active and dormant construction projects, ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and protect natural resources.
• Protect community health and ecosystems by collecting and analyzing stormwater, groundwater, and soil samples that guide important environmental decisions.
• Deliver clarity and confidence through well-structured, comprehensive reports that communicate findings to clients, regulators, and project partners.
• Advance project success by collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to integrate environmental solutions into broader project goals.
• Build trust and transparency by maintaining open communication with project managers, clients, regulatory agencies, and homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
• Prior experience with environmental inspections (3+ years preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform fieldwork in diverse environmental conditions.
