Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join our Tampa, Florida (FL) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Manage field activities including FDEP sampling protocols and soil excavation oversight
• Manage subcontractor oversight and coordination
• Monitor single or multiple site construction activities for conformance with project plans and specifications
• Prepare field reports and photos of construction activities and site investigations
• May participate in meetings with clients and contractors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License & the ability to travel for longer periods of time
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Environmental and Remedial Construction Management knowledge preferred
• 40-hour OSHA certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients
• Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
• Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Attention to details and ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals
