Job summary

UPMC Lock Haven is seeking a dedicated full-time Environmental Services Associate for the evening/night shift (11:00am-7:30pm), with occasional coverage at the McElhatten facility (6:00pm-2:30am) and a 12-hour shift every third weekend. Qualifications

• Experience in hospital housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to lift and move equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Make beds following established cleaning procedures in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms.
• Inspect and ensure areas are properly cleaned and report problems to the supervisor.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations.
• Clean all assigned areas including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment.
• Maintain equipment in clean, working condition and report problems to supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes; wash walls, spot carpets as assigned.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete housekeeping duties.
• Ability to use housekeeping equipment.
• 18 years old preferred.

UPMC Lock Haven is seeking a dedicated full-time Environmental Services Associate to join our team. This is a Full-time, evening/night shift position, 11:00am-7:30pm, occasionally providing coverage at the McElhatten facility from 6:00pm-2:30am and a 12-hour shift, 10:30am-11:00pm, every third weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning all aspects of assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, offices, and equipment, to meet hospital and department standards. This role is crucial in promoting the quality of care rendered in the environment. Responsibilities also include moving equipment, furniture, boxes, and handling blinds and curtains.
