Job summary

Nemak USA seeks an Environmental Sustainability Engineer/Leader to design and execute the environmental compliance and sustainability strategy. This role acts as a technical authority and strategic advisor, ensuring regulatory adherence, reducing environmental impact, and improving energy performance across Nemak USA sites.

The position partners with site environmental professionals and HSE management to align initiatives with Nemak’s global ESG priorities and Climate Task Force mandates, while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in environmental compliance and sustainability in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of EPA/WDNR regulations and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

Ensure Nemak USA sites comply with EPA/WDNR and local regulations.
Lead air, water, waste, and hazardous materials programs across sites; support ISO 14001 implementation.
Develop cross-site energy roadmap, including renewable energy sourcing and on-site power generation.
Lead decarbonization initiatives to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions.
Implement ISO 50001 and monitor energy KPIs and emissions.
