Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Sustainability Engineer focused on reducing environmental impact and driving long-term sustainability performance. Under supervision, you will help develop solutions to reduce GHG emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3; reduce energy use; and advance circularity in operations.

This hybrid role requires three days per week in Northbrook, IL or Chicago, IL, with potential collaboration across international locations to support global sustainability programs.

Job description

The role is focused on reducing environmental impact and driving long-term sustainability performance across UL Solutions. Under supervision, the engineer helps develop solutions to reduce GHG emissions across scopes 1,2 and 3; reduce energy use; and help define other circularity opportunities. The role also champions the integration of sustainability into day-to-day operations.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in one of the following locations:

• Northbrook, IL
• Chicago, IL
• Ballerup, DK
