Job summary

KBR Environmental Supervisor (Contingency) leads environmental compliance activities in support of TACOM operations, supervising environmental technicians and staff to ensure adherence to all regulations. The role requires strong leadership of hazardous material and waste programs and coordination with regulatory bodies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in environmental compliance, supervisory experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain required certifications. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in environmental compliance, safety, or related field in an industrial, military, or government environment.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required environmental certifications (e.g., RCRA, HAZMAT).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hazardous material and hazardous waste programs.
• Develop plans for environmental programs and set milestones.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Army regulations.
• Coordinate with higher staff on costly or controversial projects.
• Prepare reports and follow up on noncompliance notices.
• Manage program budgets and resources to complete projects.
