Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Anchor Packaging Operations is seeking an Environmental Manager to support facilities in Jonesboro, Paragould, and Marmaduke, Arkansas. The role reports to the Regional Environmental Manager and drives environmental stewardship across the manufacturing network.

The ideal candidate will lead regulatory compliance programs, mentor production teams, and collaborate with site leadership to reduce environmental risk while integrating environmental vision into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Environmental experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience applying effective environmental management systems.
• Experience developing regulatory compliance programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental programs and oversee compliance across multiple Arkansas facilities.
• Develop and optimize environmental management systems and risk controls.
• Manage air, water, and waste permits and related regulatory obligations.
• Partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement and incident prevention.
• Mentor production teams on environmental stewardship and decision rights.
• Communicate environmental performance to internal and external stakeholders.
