Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks an Environmental Specialist based in Honolulu, Hawaii to support the Hickam AFB Civil Engineering Squadron. Positions available are Mid-level and Entry-level, each requiring a relevant bachelor's degree and specific experience in environmental program management.

The role involves developing and implementing environmental programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting data analysis. Candidates with experience in Hawaii and military property management will be preferred. Excellent communication skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Mid-level: 3 years of facility/infrastructure experience and 5 years of environmental program management.
• Entry-level: 1 year of facility experience and 3 years in Air Force real property preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing briefing materials for environmental programs.
• Analyze environmental regulatory issues affecting programs.
• Provide management support to coordinate with contractors and agencies.
• Support compliance program document development and strategic guidance.
