The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Air Quality, seeks to fill an Environmental Specialist IV vacancy in Augusta.
This Environmental Specialist IV position is within the Maine DEP’s Bureau of Air Quality, Planning and Mobile Sources Section. The manager develops, implements, and oversees regulatory and non-regulatory programs for the Bureau of Air Quality. The role involves collaboration with staff across the Air Bureau and other agencies. The candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and management skills, with responsibilities including:

Eight years of combined education and/or experience in environmental science or related fields, including at least two years of supervisory or management experience. Education must include 15 credit hours in science or engineering.
