Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of principles of surface and groundwater hydrology.
  • Basic knowledge of terminology, principles, and analytical techniques of the physical or natural sciences.
  • Ability to use ESRI GIS software, MS-Office, and various modeling tools.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze and interpret scientific or technical data.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of BMAPs by assisting senior staff with data collection and organization.
  • Produce preliminary drafts of reports, maps, and tables and assist with public meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders and prepare informational materials.
  • Draft summary progress reports for Program and Division managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
