Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a skilled hazardous waste professional to provide transportation and disposal services. Responsibilities include sampling waste streams, manifesting, packaging, and coordinating transportation while complying with strict safety regulations.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry preferred. A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and a valid driver's license ensure readiness for this on-site role with opportunities for CDL

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup response and tagging, loading, off loading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and Veolia Environmental Services policies and procedures.
• Familiarize with DOT/EPA and Veolia regulations for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
