Job summary

Tysam Tech, LLC seeks an environmental professional to support NEPA, regulatory reporting, and environmental audits in the USVI and US. You'll collect data, perform impact analysis, prepare NEPA documents, and support the Environmental Compliance and Management System development.

Based in St. Croix, you will coordinate with clients and regulators, ensure safety, and contribute to project documentation and reporting across projects in the US Virgin Islands and the United States.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support development of NEPA documents, including CEs, EAs, and EISs.
• Collect and analyze environmental data to determine potential impacts.
• Conduct hazardous materials surveys and develop reports
• Perform environmental audits and inspections.
• Support client and internal site compliance with EPA, OSHA, RCRA, and other regs.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental studies, and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and provide project status updates.
• Support development of the Environmental Compliance and Management System.
• Maintain environmental records and project documentation.
• Assist with managing environmental project tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Participate in daily team meetings and support other tasks as assigned.

Job description

Support NEPA, environmental compliance, and regulatory reporting for federal, public, and private clients across the USVI and U.S. You'll prepare NEPA documents, conduct audits and inspections, analyze environmental data, and prepare the technical reports and filings for clients and regulators.

Job Summary

The role supports the environmental aspects of client projects, from data collection and impact analysis through NEPA documentation, regulatory coordination, and final reporting. It also supports development of Tysam Tech's internal Environmental Compliance and Management System. The position reports to the Environmental Engineer II.

The position is based in our St. Croix office and supports projects throughout the US Virgin Islands and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of NEPA documents, including Categorical Exclusions (CEs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
• Collect and analyze environmental data to determine potential impacts to the human and natural environment.
• Conduct hazardous materials surveys and develop reports
• Perform environmental audits and inspections.
• Support client and internal site compliance with EPA, OSHA, RCRA, and other federal regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental studies, and regulatory filings for clients and regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and provide project status and regulatory updates.
• Support development of the Environmental Compliance and Management System.
• Maintain environmental records and project documentation.
• Assist with managing environmental project tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Participate in daily team meetings and support other tasks as assigned.
