Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support Lab & OSS teams on-site at a client location in Redwood City, CA.

You will manage hazardous waste programs, prepare waste documents, and ensure regulatory compliance under state and federal rules. The role emphasizes strong safety practices, customer service, and collaboration with clients, while participating in an optional on-call Emergency Response rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry.
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions.
• Must be willing to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of OSHA regulations and Health & Safety practices.
• Prepare chemical and biological waste for shipment; manage paperwork.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites and load/unload waste.
• Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
• Occasionally perform Environmental Health and Safety audits for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to clients.
• Develop regulatory expertise for compliance needs (RCRA, DOT, OSHA).
• Conduct spill response assessments and cleanup activities.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response (optional).
